Important limitation

SiteGuard Lite is a limited automated first-pass assessment. Results may be incomplete or inaccurate and should not be treated as a security certification, compliance review, or substitute for a professional audit.

01

Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using SiteGuard Lite, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Do not use the service if you do not agree with them.

02

Permitted use

SiteGuard Lite is intended for reviewing public website signals on sites you own, manage, or are authorized to assess. You may use the report to support maintenance planning, quality reviews, and discussions with developers or service providers.

You must not use the service to disrupt another website, evade technical controls, overwhelm infrastructure, or support unauthorized access.

03

Audit limitations

The service performs a bounded review of publicly observable signals. It does not inspect every page, execute a complete browser lab test, verify server configuration, authenticate into WordPress, scan for malware, test credentials, run exploits, or prove that a site is secure.

Results can be affected by network conditions, redirects, caching, bot protection, dynamic rendering, geolocation, temporary outages, and information hidden from the public response.

04

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for confirming that you have permission to assess a target, reviewing findings before acting on them, backing up a website before making changes, and involving a qualified professional when a finding affects security, privacy, accessibility, compliance, or business continuity.

05

Availability and changes

The service may be changed, limited, suspended, or discontinued without notice. Checks, scoring, thresholds, report language, and supported features may also change as the project evolves.

06

Intellectual property

SiteGuard Lite, its interface, original copy, visual system, and project branding are owned by Siddharth Sudhir unless a separate license states otherwise. Third-party packages, icons, and technologies remain subject to their respective licenses.

07

Third-party websites and services

Reports may reference websites, headers, resources, or services controlled by third parties. SiteGuard Lite does not control those services and is not responsible for their content, availability, security, or privacy practices.

08

No warranties

The service and its reports are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. No warranty is made that a report is complete, accurate, current, uninterrupted, or suitable for a particular legal, compliance, security, SEO, accessibility, or commercial decision.

09

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Siddharth Sudhir and SiteGuard Lite are not liable for losses arising from use of the service, reliance on a report, changes made to a website, service interruption, data loss, lost revenue, or third-party claims.
